What team are you? There's really nobody who can replace him. The best defender in the game imo. John Terry is the only one who's as good (maybe better?). Try to offer him the maximum amount of salary you can. Hopefully he'll agree.

If not, then there are plenty of other good defenders out there. Depends on your transfer budget and what team you are (some might not want to come to a smaller team). Richards, Breno, Garay, Zapata, Taylor (Newcastle), Djourou, Senderos etc etc.

The team and budget is important to give you a better idea.
