Hes great when he gets going.
In Europe hes scored 6 in 2.
In the League 5 in 9.
Ive got a great big man Little man big man partnership.
I generally have Hunter and Defoe in the league.
And Defoe and Berb/Bent in europe due to Hunter being unregistered.

I recomend him to anyone hes great.

What about Doyle from Reading or Nolan from Bolton? First guy, Ok must admit, is not English, last guy is though. Expect to pay some good money for them, but both are, by far, not comparable to Defoe...

for me he seems to go thorough patches of not scoring but a few comments on his performances gets him goign again. 2nd top scorer in the league with bimingham (2nd season) and propelling us towards europe

He got 14 for me last season with Sunderland, he's quality IMO.

he is fantastic on his day but atrocious otherwise. He owns the record for most goals scored in a game for me (5) but has also now went on a 10hour goal drought

Got him for 2.7m in January with Villa. Spurs wouldn't play him and although I didn't want another striker til the summer (was getting Huntelaar) he was so cheap I had to.

Still, he's not doing amazingly well, but I never really gave him a long stint. He was so unfit he didn't come into intention until March, by which time Carew was on fire upfront on his own.

Hopefully the next season though he'll get some games, I might use him as a super-sub along with Shaun Maloney.

I bought him as a back up striker for Chelsea.

He's only managing to score against crap teams.
