i just picked him PLUS 17 million up in a part exchange for Tomas Rosicky. Milan offered the deal too me too! currently 9 games, two goals, four assists and a pass completion rate of 85%. He and Fabregas are giving me such amazing distribution from the middle of the park.

The formation Milan play in the game doesnt really have a spot for him, hence he doesnt get much game time in season 1 and is usually easy to unsettle.

Banega is Pirlo incarnate and Parker is 1/5th of the player he is. Plus he's not really a DMC, if you want a DMC get a proper DMC, Pirlo is an MC. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I know Parker is not a world class midfielder but besides banega and him, i still have Piatti, Dyer and Michael Johnson all competing for 2 midfield slots. Johnson and Pirlo were the new signings and i just failed to sell Parker before the transfer season ends.

Would still recommend Pirlo though. He is a good player. but not sure he could last much longer though.

I paid £8.5m for him in the second January transfer window; he's been ok but to be honest I was getting better results out of Lassana Diarra and Miguel Veloso so I sold him to Barcelona in the summer for £16m - not a bad profit on a 30 year old!

I took over at Milan in 2010. I noticed that Riijkard the moron had Pirlo rotting in the reserves, and transfer listed for 1.2m!!!!

I immediatly stuck Pirlo straight into the first team and he played every game for me in the 2nd half of the season, scoring 7 goals and getting 9 assists. He point blank refused to sign a new contract, even when I offered up to 70,000 a week to him. With his contract set to expire at the end of next season, and fearing a bosman exit, I decided to cash in and sell him to Newcastle for 9mil. Not bad business.

Can anyone reccommend a replacement for Pirlo? A decent creative defensive mid who can pick a pass etc.? I have 65mil to spend so money isint an option

:o I can't believe what I'm seeing 2.6 million for Andrea Pirlo? holy crap! I wish he was availible for that on my game... how I'd love to bring him in for my team

oh and a good replacement for pirlo... well I really like De Rosi (Roma) Mavuba (used to be in championship but is probably already bought by 2010) Lucas (Liverpool) Jean Il Makoun (probably in some top club) and also, the ever-lasting Pique (fantastic defender and world class defensive midfielder)
