Ive posted this in the Liverpool thread as well but Im gonna open it up to the floor cause Im really gettin frustrated by my lack of all conquering greatness and quite frankly woffle ability to challenge fo the league

I started off 2nd season with 11 straight wins, including wins at Arsenal and at Stanford Bridge in the league cup. Then Gerrard breaks his leg. 5 months out. now this shouldnt really be a worry cause he's been awful, 6s all over the show, Lucus and Mascherano have been far better. Renato Agusto has been god awful. Then the run began, back 2 back losses at home to - Middlesbro and Newcastle???????? Both were bombarded with the usual goalkeeping clinic put on. Then draws to all kinds of awful teams began. My home form went totally down the cr@pper. (finished the season with about the 8th worst home form in thre league. Concede far to many goals with a wonder defence ( Richards Brazagali Carragher and Marcelo) and injuries and bad performances all round

Crawl into January in 4th place - home form still awful, draws and defeats including a humiliating 3-1 defeat at Anfield to Arsenal. Signed van Der Vaart and Banega as Lucus got injured for 2 months as well and Agusto was playing like he had spinobifida

Things looked up as we won the league cup 1-0 against Birmingham- beat 1-0 in Champion league away at Soucheux (guess who got MOTM?) but no mercy in the home leg as we put 4 past them and draw madrid - a formation change is then installed as not 1 of my midfilders seems comfortable in a 442 now its a 4231 with farrows pushing def midfields into orthodox position, and a change in style (short passing to mixed, more creativity) And Wahhaaaa!!! Home form sorted. Beat Madrid 1-0 after another MOTM from Casillas and draw 1-1 over there, semis baby against Inter. in the San Siro take lead twice and they level in injury time. 22 shots to 12 AWAY AT INTER FREEKIN MILAN. Of course I then lose 1-0 at Anfield when Richards gives away a penalty for no reason (3rd one hes gave away this season). Of course Julio Ceasar is the MOTM. Finish season in 3rd on 73 points, 1 point better than the previous year. Every player I sign the fans hate. Van Der Vartt wins "worst signing of the season" at the end of year award thing- no way he was worse than that muppet Agusto
Won a cup, semi finals of Champions League and finished 3rd. No new contract offered - Gutted, but if you cant win a league with the side I had I probably deserved to be sacked.
Applied for Madrid job, they gave it to Camacho (for all you anoraks out there Camacho has joined Madrid twice and left twice in less than 2 months each time IRL)

Anywho Boro offered me a job, Boro?????? Im Burjennio damnit, Im a megastar!!!!!! I wouldnt go near Middlesborough with an Armed Escort!!!!

So Im at a crossroads, start again for the millionth time, or try to get employment with a different club, and come back and lay my vengance upon Gillette and Hicks, Yankee B@stards

So what would YOU do, see what happens or reload yet again, bring in all my bloody coaches again? remove the dead wood again? Use pre or post patch? Take the next 2 weeks off work? Kill any Manc supporter that so much as smiles my way? Help me Im so confused!!!!!!!!

i would start again and manage a smaller team, ur obvously not up to a superstar job unfortunatly, try leeds :p

Dont believe I left out the best bit - I beat ManU 6-5!!!!!!!!!!!!!! went 3 up, back to 3-2 adn 4-2 at half time. I almost blow it as Utd go 5-4 up and ive written half a resignation letter. Then kaboom Van Der Vartt scores on the 83rd minute and Mr Torres steps in with an injury time winner, giving him 5 for the day and the media to call it "a must watch match to any doubters of the beautiful game"
