Have a new DC on my Fulham team, Marius Constantin, and noticed a pattern when I play him...he always injures the opposing team on a regular basis until he gets a yellow. We just played West Ham and before the half was even over he had already injured both their strikers, Ashton and Bellamy. In the 2nd half he got a yellow and no more injuries for West Ham.
He hasn't gotten a red all season but he got a yellow in nearly every game until I put his tackling to easy but he still injures opposing players at a consistent rate.
So for any teams that can't afford a good DC, then get the next best thing in Constantin and just make sure your opponents forwards are on the bench.
