Is it ok to sign a player who has played against you in a pre season friendly, after you have requested the scout to scout him?

If the scout recommends you buy him, you agree with your scout, the player agrees to join you and your board will pay his fee and wages, then yes.

I'm not sure what the scouting a player yourself reference is for though if you've requested the scout take a look at him.

If you mean can you scout a player who plays well against your team then, yes, course you can

Oh, and please don't type all in capitals - I have sensitive ears.

THE CAPS ARE NOT NEEDED.

Typing in caps on the Internet is seen as shouting. You don't need to shout.

1.) it's your game, do whatever you feel right and enjoy it.
2.) it's been done and famous are the stories that go along with these signings. And most of these stories include the manager getting blamed for it.
