After long debates in the Is it worth it thread, i decided to start a game as low as i possibly can (and thereby i mean league and team) and try to take them up as much as i can in 20 years. So i took Alfreton, encouraged by the results of other LLaMa's, especially CmFreak, and began working with the Reds. In the LLM tradition i did not use the search screen, only scouts for me. So i had to sign a few. They brought up a few interesting players ( as good as they can be in Conference North). With 20 signings we took off to the new season. Midway through we were top but things began to shake seriously when 7 players were effectively K.O. after more than sadistic challenges by Hinckley players in the local derby. We then lost 5 consecutive games and with ten games left we were second with a really good chance of reaching the playoffs.

Season is now finished and we are second. Today i will play for promotion. Will keep posting soon

Is this an update thread? Because if it is there is a rule which says you must complete at least 3 seasons before starting one. (unless you have special permission from the Mods)
