I played with Kildare County in the Irish lower leagues a couple of games back.
Their season runs differently from the YooKay, being a spring start through autumn finish.
I noticed a fallaway in fitness during what would be the YooKay close season, from May to the end of June, and I've just noticed the same in my current Brasilian save...same thing...January start.
Has anyone else noticed this, have an explanation for this, or is it my imanim-agination?
Chile is in the Southern hemisphere, so May-September is roughly their winter. The ideal time for those sniffles.
I can't suggest anything for the Ireland thing. Maybe the hurling season kicks in at that time and all your part-timers knock off early to get a game in? (NFI, in other words.
I'm finishing up my first season with Kildare County now actually but have yet to see any major drop offs in fitness. However my mind is more focused on my wildly inconsistant form at the moment.
I'm playing in the Nordic leagues Ian, which run through the summer, and haven't noticed any problems. I'll keep an eye out though as I've just started a new season, it's currently March.
