I took over at East Stirlingshire, was promoted to the SPL, finished runner-up once each in the League Cup and Scottish Cup, and was sacked by the new chairman on December 4th, 2016...completely out of the blue, having finished 2nd in the SPL the previous season and lying in 5th place on a five game winning streak. New manager dragged them down to a 9th place finish.
Bastard.
I applied for vacant positions at L2 Nottingham Forest, delayed when offered the job as I'd also applied for EPL Arsenal, Championship Sheffield Wednesday and Conference Chester, and was laughed at by Arsenal, turned down by Wednesday, never approached by Chester, and Forest gave the job to some other bloke whilst I was procrastinating.
Season 2018/19
Slough Town were promoted to the Conference South, managerless and with three signed players (plus three loanees from Millwall who were about to head back to The Den), a physio, and £123k in their coffers (where the hell do a Ryman's team get £123k? Certainly not from the recent Race Night they had, reported on the Official Site )
First item on the agenda? Job Centre for a couple of scouts and (hopefully) a Jock AssMan.

It's been a while since I had to deal with this but from what I remember in the terms of agreement when you click accept you agree that you are over the age of 13 (or 14) and if you are infact younger you will need parental permission to view this board.
So if somebody drops in a swear word here and there it's fair game, it's your choice if you let your children read the boards, so please don't start.
