Better season...slightly. We finished 8th, one position behind Slough Town, but we've had the better of them over the two seasons.

We've "qualified" for the Inter-Toto so I've signed a contract at £22000p/w for a season, I'll probably see how we go in the Inter-Toto and decide after that whether to complete my contract or bow out gracefully and start another game.

I'm 72, game age, and I can't help but think it's a bit long in the tooth to manage at that level, but I've a few really good looking laddies in the Reserves and U-18s ( :eek: Steady!!), and I'd hate to jack before I see what they mature into.

Depends on what your in-game health and faculties have been like I suppose...
Actually, that could be a cool new feature. The game making you do deliberately random things the older you get. When you get to 80 it should automatically make you sub your best performing outfield player for your goalkeeper, leading you to eventually get sacked for senility
Of course if you factor in the increasing life expectancy and our governments inclination to increase the state retirement age, you could easily be gainfully employed at 80 in the 2030s
