Silly me. I forgot about the search function, i now know who Johnny Yakuza was. And yes, i thought about playing the game that way too, for about a second. The problem with that is, I have a real job. Most real life FM's don't. So the question was, do I simulate my real job, or simulate certain aspects of the game. After searching for months, I have yet to find the "Show Highlights Only" button at my desk on the 19th floor of an office building...but i'm still looking.

No. I disagree, its not a poor excuse. Its a personal preference, I realize that, but its not an "excuse". I wouldn't manage in certain countries, because I wouldn't want to live there. Managing Dynamo Kiev would not appeal to me because I'd have to live in Ukraine. This is how I like to play.
