What do you if, after losing a job in Fm you do not get offered another chance at the pie?
Currently on Holiday after getting Welling relegated and have not been able to get another job. I am thinking of 3 ways to go here.
1. Scrap this save and start a new one.
2. Retire as manager and add a new manager in.
3. Keep on going until I get another job.
Out of all those options I am leaning towards scraping the save if I don't get another job in about 2 seasons. Mainly to add more leagues into the game to add more relegation fodder :cool:
Thoughts anyone, how long would you leave it before starting over?
Not knowing how many leagues you have loaded or how long you've been on holidays for, I'd choose option 1 as well.
My guess, you don't have many leagues as my experience with FM07 is that it's pretty easy to find work once you've been sacked. Economic recovery and all that.
In my current save I've had to wait six months before getting offered a job.
Travian, working on some unpublished articles which had to be corrected and reading eased my wait.
It's been something like 95 minutes from the moment in which I started holidaying until I realised the game had stopped processing and a new job was available.
10 months worth of Holidays and I finaly got a job in the Scottish 3rd Division. \o/ hurrah. Though it was good to hear other peoples views. I guess if I had to wait longer than a full season I would probably start from scratch again but it would all depend I suppose on how far I was into the game.
Currently sitting at 5 days 18 hours and 59 mins. Better order another takeaway pizza.
What's Travian? I recognise that from somewhere but I'm stumped.
If you liked the savegame so far and don't want to stop it, do 2 or 3. A couple of LLaMas have even retired their manager because of old age and added a new manager in as a Junior.
If you don't like continuing the savegame, then pick 1. All options are just fine.
I had this problem with my first LLM attempt, relegated with Leigh's railway mechanics and didnt get another job for two years... subsequently scrapped the game. Started a recent new LLM attempt with Hyde, hopefully won't be as bad this time.
Must admit though I only had the English leagues running in the Leigh game, maybe a reason why I was a part of the furniture in the job centre.
