I don't agree with Cups suck arse when it comes to the FA Cup, but am far more aligned that way when it comes to the League Cup and FA Trophy, and very much so with the Eidos Sucks Arse Trophy.

That said, I have already won one more trophy with Weston than I did in nearly 25 years at Billericay on 06.
The £150,000+ (nearly 14,000 watched the final) was more than welcome too, but over £110,000 of that was from the final alone, including prize money.

2010/1 - Weston-super-Mare (Conference National)

The training facilities get upgraded to fairly basic, but we're still semi pro and expected to bravely battle against relegation. The bookies don't quite agree and quote us 16-1 for promotion.
A **** poor start improves considerably, but we were cast so far adrift after an appalling first half to the season that we hardly climb up the table.

2011/2 - Weston-super-Mare (Conference)

Training facilities (to adequate) and youth facilities (still minimal) get upgraded. Bookies have us at 40-1 to go up, and we're expected to fight bravely against the drop.
And we're still semi professional.

A very consistent season nevers sees us out of the top half, although lack of form at the end of the season sees a playoff challenge fade.
