2009/10 - Billericay Town (Conference)
My first full season back at New Lodge, and we're falling heavily in debt, more on that in a mini tidbit later.
A 15 year old striker is the only youth player promoted, and he turns out to be a bit useful. Making his debut in the Suck Arse, he scores 8 goals in 19 appearances, not a bad first effort.
In early February, I get offered the Tamworth job. Despite being tempted to the place, their very low salary budget and the fact they only offered me half my current wage meant I refused.
On the pitch, the bookies had us at 25-1 to go up. Inconsistent form for most of the season (bar a six match win streak) meant those odds were a good price.

A couple of tidbits...
I am awarded third in Conference Manager of the Year
Two of my players get first and third in goal of the season... in the same match (Crawley at home)
Three cash injections happen in the year, totalling £266,325. Despite this, we end the season £399,170 in debt. Oh dear.
Next season...
