Played 46:- 9 wins 15 draws 22 defeats, but the stat that I was most proud of is that we only had a goal difference of -9, (unashamed bragging:p)

In my efforts to get Basingstoke to play with Liverpool’s tactic I seem to have managed only to emulate their early season form. Start of last season played 9, 5 points to my name. Start of this season Played 8, 6 points. Now if only can figure out how to win 4-0 away, 4-0 at home and 3-0 away in the next three matches.

A season the promised so little, then so much and finally delivered SFA.

Up to Xmas we were firmly entrenched in a relegation battle. All of a sudden we remember how win and charge up the table, as soon we got into a playoff position we got a nose bleed and slid right down the table to finish in a disapointing 19th position.

Yes I am still playing this game though I did take some time away from it.

And with 12 games to go in the following season having lead the league for 27 straight weeks Huddersfield now lead us by 1 point.
