Default Sweep the Chimney

So, Frank takes me to Chimney Corner in Northern Ireland. How could I possibly have turned down that name?

2006/07 - NI 2nd Division

Predictions see us finish 8th.

League sees us unable to maintain good form, miss out on promotion on the final day, finishing third.

P22 W11 D7 L4 F40 A21 Pts 40

NI Intermediate Cup: Quarters
NI Intermediate League Cup: Quarters
Antrim Trophy: 2nd Rnd
NI Cup: 5th Rnd

2007/08 - Northern Ireland 2nd Div

Predictions have us finishing 7th.

We maintain form all season, finishing top.

P22 W14 D4 L4 F42 A22 Pts 46

NI Intermediate Cup: 1st Rnd
NI Intermediate League Cup: Runners-Up
Antrim Trophy: Quarters
NI Cup: 5th Rnd
Antrim Cup: 1st Rnd

Way too many cups in Northern Ireland. I had players play in 38 matches, when the league is only 22 long.

2008/09 - Northern Ireland 1st Division

Predictions see us finish 7th again. Everyone else expects us to simply battle bravely.

Absolutely no questions about this season, we're in the top 2 basically all the way, and there are only 3 weeks where we're not on top, or level but ahead on goal difference.

P22 W13 D7 L2 F47 A21 Pts 46

NI Intermediate Cup: 3rd Rnd
NI Intermediate League Cup: Quarters
Antrim Trophy: 2nd Rnd
NI Cup: 4th Rnd

Cups saw us lose on penalties in every competition.

Were awarded with best signing of the season, an AM LC, as well as being named overachievers of the season.

Did you notice you never mention which position you actually finished??

Apart from that, KUTGW. It's always fun reading an update about Norn Ireland.

I was about to point out the same thing.

KUTGW. Northern Ireland is fun, but horrible economically.

I always found NI to be hugely frustrating, but I've not played there in the last few versions. KUTGW.

A KUTGW hardly seems necessary, My Lady, but KUTGW anyway

Well, I figured that most of us LLaMas are intelligent enough to figure out where I placed when I say "On top" "third" or "there are only 3 weeks where we're not on top"

Northern Ireland league is a strange league. Not much difference between the three leagues really, except for Glentoran, who seem to be the only team able to pay decent wages for players. I find it funny how you are playing 2 games a week through December, and then you play 2 games a month through April. Lots of clicking "continue..."
