Yes, the scheduling really is a bit odd. My final 3 matches had 20 days separating them.
I definitely dislike the economics here. I'll look to move on for sure if I don't keep them up in the Premier Division, as I'll never be able to put a squad together that will, if this one isn't good enough. Particularly not with average attendances of 400.

I'm poddling along in this league too, having lots of close encounters with CC. What gets me is the FIVE cup compies! I was initially concerned at the absence of reserve fixtures, but I realised that my whole (skeletal) squad gets a good run-out thanks to the arse-suckers. I'm enjoying myself.

The schduling in the last half of the season is maddening. I kept getting guys out of match fitness because of the length between games. I didn't want to schedule any friendlies, as I thought that was a bit unrealistic. Of course, when I see the weather an pitch conditions in those few games in January or February, I can kind of understand why maybe there are few games then!
Yes, the economics are very frustrating, but it is rewarding when your team finally does well, or when that one star player moves on to better things, and you track his career to its heights, knowing that he started on your lowly club.

Oh yes, the snow and sleet in December/January. Love that! I see you guys back in the homeland are getting that for real. We had a cold snap last month - night temperatures plummeted to 20 degrees C; a mere 28 in the day :p

| Jaysus... I could use some of that! It's -10C right now, possibly down to -20C by Sunday. Think I'll be playing a lot of FM.

Don't even get on temperatures. It's -25'C as we speak, yesterday's high was -22'C, and that's not even cold. A couple weeks ago, the temperatures were down around -40. That's the same on both scales.
Unless there are some Siberians around, don't complain about cold in my thread!

For temperature, distance, velocity we use metric, weights are Imperial, for the most part.
