Seems to be a one way thing. Weston hate Newport while Newport don't give two shiny ones either way.

Season 12-13 (Part One) - League Two

Despite bringing in some much needed reinforcements, we never made any impact on the league. After a very inconsistent start to the season I decided that I had taken WSM as far as I could. On the 1st of January 2013, I took over at Stockport County - languishing in 24th place in League One

Stockport were languishing at the bottom of the league without a win in sixteen games. A few timely acquisitions in the transfer window saw us climb (un)comfortably to 19th position and safety.

Season 2013/14 - League One

The media predicted we would finish 22nd, but I knew we were better than that. A lot better in fact! After sitting comfortably in the playoffs all season, we eventually slipped to 7th place - one below the playoffs.

Season 2014/15 - League One

The board, fans and media all predicted/wanted a season of midtable obscurity. For most of the season we hovered just below the playoffs, reaching the quarters of League Cup and semis of JPT. After being knocked out of these we improved in the league and pushed up to a final position of fifth place.

A 1-0 aggregate win over Notts Forest put us into the playoff final. However, a 2-0 defeat to in form Southend means another season in League One. The board have, however, relinquished 1.2 million pounds to bolster the squad.
