You Brits have a skewed sense of local, considering you can drive from most major centres to most others in but a couple hours.

Yeah, surprisingly enough Devon, there's nothing happening between Winnipeg and Halifax.

There's no such thing as local rivalries around me at all, honestly. Other than the few low level ice hockey teams, or the two local universities.
