one of the major no-no's is the use of an editor for any reason when playing LLM.
There is no grey area as far as that's concerned.
| I'm not [i]using[/] it when playing.
The word "using" suggests continous use, which is not what I did.
Niether did I use [b]when[B/} playing. I used before playing.
From the moment I started my game everything has been up to your standards. If you are saying this one wayward slip has cost me...that would mean I can never be an LLM because this slip is unredeemable, am I correct?

It doesn't matter. You might have sto9pped using the editor, but perhaps you altered database before to such extent that the game would be easier for you.
Thus, the only thing you can do for your new game to be LLM is that you uninstall and then install FM again.

| What a ridiculous step to take.
I spent 30 seconds MAXIMUM in the editor, I viewed Farsleys reputation...then I quit the editor to load up a new game with Farsley.
No editing took place whatsoever.

LLM is about realism.
When you appoint for the managerial position at a club, the chairman won't tell you "Oh, Mr. Daemon Rising, our reputation is 1237 points but we want to increase that value to 1384 in the next 4 months".
He can tell you whether the club has a local reputation, a regional one, or if the club is one of world renown. And - coincidentally - this information is available directly in the game.

| I think you're a little harsh here. He did state he only viewed and never changed things.

| If you read what I quoted, my own quote, you'd see that your question is answered
There was also no suggestion you were still using the editor, just a reminder that it's never justifiable (Even when Livingston is left with a 6100 seater stadium when it's been upgraded to 10100 after two patches and four e-mails :o )

| But this is my point. I'm not one of these types who ever edits data. Even to stamp out bugs or anything...I don't edit data. I don't personally find it fun, so have never done it.
Also my question isn't answered......
Your post suggests I can one day be an LLM...but if that is true..then surely I already am, seeing as: As of this current moment I already adhere to every rule
I'm a little hazy on how I get this game to qualify up to your standards....or whether it does meet your standards (seeing as no rules have been broken during the game)

| Again Cosmo, a valid point well made.
I'm just asking for a little leniancy here. This is a superb game save that I do not want to be restarting.
Also restarting would be trivial...as I would still hold the information about the reputation of Farsley. iajafer.....This is why I'm wondering : Can I ever be an LLM seeing as I already hold this information about the reputation of Farsley

So Mr Rising, are you saying that as this is the only time you have used the editor & because it was for the purpose of making your challenge harder you deserve absolution?
