Default the kettering dream

I decided to play as kettering for my first ever LLM experiance here is season one

Season 2006/2007
Conference North

Start of Season

Team = Kettering
Media Prediction= 1st
Board and Fans expect = Reputable Finish
Avrg Squad Age = 21

Season

Final Position = 5th - Lost in playoff semi final
Played 42 - Won 17 - Drew 13 - Lost 12 = 64pts (Got playoffs by 1 point)

Cups
F.A Cup - 2nd Qual rnd
F.A Trophy - 3rd rnd

Game of the season

Kettering 4-5 alfreton
was the last game of the season and i needed a draw to make sure i got playoffs
goals were as follows
1-0,2-0,2-1,2-2 HT
3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 4-4, 4-5 alfreton scored in the 92nd minuit lucky for me the team in 6th also lost so i got playoffs anyway

Low Point = Losing 9 games on the trott and

getting the dreaded "vote of confidence"

a 5-0 demolition from redditch followed by a
6-0 humiliation from scarborough

loseing my star striker halfway through the season (was out for the rest of the season)

losing in the play offs 1-0 on aggrigate to scarborough and missing 2 penaltys in the same match

High point = i beat hucknel 5-1 straight after the 6-0 defeat at scarborough

achieving playoffs on the last game of the season despite losing

summary

a very poor season in all with only 2k to spend on transfers and alot of deadwood in the team

Steve, if you intend to have a long and fruitful stay in LLM it's imperative that you use Capitals and recognisable English.

Just a wee word of warning

Welcome Steve.

I note your other thread didn't go too well.

To avoid a similar thing here, maybe you would like to view this and this before going any further.

I know some of the regulars have mentioned player naming but you may have missed that you need to have completed 3 seasons before you start an update thread.

If you've already completeed the 3 seasons, and just haven't posted them yet, then apologies and welcome again. If you have just completeed your 1at season, then see you in 2 years .

Definitely in my opinion.

The first game I ever watched live was a preseason friendly between Bideford Town and Manchester City.

But Steve, do try and capitalise/punctuate properly.

I have had a hard day at work and it makes things so much easier on the eyes.

Nobody will say you can't, but you shouldn't be looking to give yourself an artificial advantage by arranging 5 pre-season away to Premier League sides every year.

A lot of us just leave the arranging to our assistants, TBH.

My friendlies are all against teams whose names contain no vowels. My ass man has a speech impediment and/or is permanently ****ed.
