I've got another Brasilian. Paysunda what Slough were giving me...
Season 2006
Okay, details first:
Nationality, Scottish. v7.0.1, Large Db, Loaded with all South American and all North American Leagues, Jockland from Div3, Poofland from Conference N&S, and all players from Ireland, N.Ireland and Wales, Scotland and England.
Baré start in the Campeonato Roraimense (holders, apparently, but still there?). 11 players in the first team squad, no reserves and some 14 and 15y/o kids in the U-20s.
They're £7200 in the red (and then pay £6000 in wages in the first month), and are expected to finish 6th in the League.
...but...
There appears to be a second League to play in after the first one finishes, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C Grp 6. Maybe the promotion one...
Scout's off as the first act on the first day.
He spotted 18 frees, so I signed the lot (Well, it was 24 but 6 weren't interested)
Campeonato Roraimense
3rd: P14, W7, D1, L6, Gf21, Ga19, Pts22
In the close season/inbetween season/whatever our new scout went out and found 7 available for nothing guys, and three signed
Campeonato Brasileiro Série C Grp 6
3rd: P14, W9, D2, L3, Gf26, Ga10, Pts29
Season 2007
Scouts recommended 15, so we signed 5 frees and released 12 (well, not all signings are any good :o ), and 7 were promoted as youths, but they look hellish.
We were butt*****d by Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil, 7-0 on aggregate
The first tournament you played in is a regional/state championship. It's kind of a pre-season tournament held for local bragging rights. It's possible to get relegated but not promoted from them (you usually get promoted back into it after a season or two), though you can't change region obviously. Each region has its own format for the competition (and some of them are very strange) due to each having a different number of teams.
Serie A and Serie B are straight forward in terms of rules and promotion/relegation, only Serie C has the odd group...knock-out...group format, but that's due to the division being split into 16 groups.

We sold 5 players for a combined total of £4.4m and signed 5 for nothing. 5 kids were promoted, one 14y/o looks like one for the future.
Campeonato Roraimense
1st: P14, W13, D1, L0, Gf30, Ga 14, Pts40
Copa do Brasil
Quarter final, lost to Fortaleza on penalties after a 1-1agg result.
Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
P6, W1, D1, L4, Gf3, Ga7, Pts4
I jacked on June 13th.
Reason, I was homesick. I couldn't get a Scottish Scout, no Scottish AssMan, I was the only Scot in the Club and was getting lonely (who said it's only a game?)
I'll look for a Club come June 19th and hopefully start in Poofland or Jockland for the 2009/10 season.
