i'll keep the rant short. I got a player on loan fom a parent club, player was outstanding, excellant signing and played a key role in getting team promoted in my maiden year. yippee. Aforementioned loanee then got released by said aprent club and has been without a club for about 4 months now. He has resisted every overture from myself, including offering everything plus the proverbial kitchen sink. My worry is that my stature is so weak as a manager and that of my club is so unattractive that i cant even get a player to sign on short term or even agree to a trial. Im not going daft am I, or have others suffered a similar fate?
Aren't you playing with Solihull Moors, parent / feeder clubs are banned in the English leagues under FA rules.
I have noticed that players who have previously been on-loan at my club who have been released the following season have often rejected a return to Worcester and have struggled to find a new club contract with any other team.
The club reputation must be too low, so despite your best offer the player still has a desire to play at a higher level.
yeah im playing with solihull, got a link with a high div club who are sending players on loan, an affiliated club is what its called , thou in practice its a parent-esque style situ.
the club sends players on loan and i get a friendly which is supposed to be arranged, thou it has been cancelled each year........... i aint doing anything wrong by this am i? hope not, cause that would totally invalidate my achievements (thou pitiful).
tell you something, this whole not being in the fa cup is a killer for the finances.
uncle ron i think your right about the player situation. think he must have aspirations of a higher level. to be honest my club aint setting the heather on fire. i mean who wants to be involved in a relegation dogfight ffs lmao
If you are managing any club that is governed by the UKFA's who are not allowed to be a feeder club so your link needs to be cancelled & all players returned.
There are a number of thread dedicated to to subject of parent/feeder clubs, have a search & a read to find out what is considered ok with LLaMa's, myself I don't use them.
"This is a dodgy one. The Home Nation FAs effectively ban any kind of feeder arrangement, i.e. no "first option" or Directors having interests in more than one Club.
SI say they have the arrangement in purely so big clubs can loan players to lower teams so they can gain experience of first team football, and for the teams to arrange friendlies, ostensibly so the lower club can benefit financially.
In LLM, where we strive for realism, it's a grey area. Our initial, and current, thoughts are that LLaMas shouldn't use the facility but we won't say "don't do it", though Zealot's wouldn't touch it with someone else's, to the extent of turning down friendlies and not using loanees signed by the board."
ok, right, inorder that my save isnt totally comprimised i'll agree to the following since being put right by other members. i want my LLM experienc to be as sound as possible and as such have as of now cancelled my link to another club and returned all players on loan. Might i add that this was an arrangement that my board came to and wasn't sought, thou i did take advantage of certain loan signings? does having accepted these players on loan invalidate my LLM experience? please dont tell me ive to bin 2 and a half years hard graft and depression!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
advise on above will be taken and thought on. if its the consensus that iv'e inadvertedly tarnished my LLM game then i'll cancel and start again. i would strive to be a purist on such matters and respect all opinions as such.
It all would depend on what you have achieved with your parent club players and would the on-loan players would have realistically signed for your club.
the players i loaned in my first season had good effect, thou the whole team was playing well. the 2nd season the players struggled and were used to little effect as is the same with the 1st half of the 3rd season. In terms of the players realistically signing, with the exception of one player i would say yes (and that player accepted a loan to a BSN club the next year). the players loaned were not of a high standard, and in truth the ones loaned in my 2nd and the 1st half of my 3rd season were out of their depth and were used as back ups for injuries. In total, prior to cancelling the arrangement it wasn't exceedingly beneficial. no friendly was played and players laoned weren't above the standard of the lowest division. Just feel like a total tit for not reading all the forum rules in detail.
