Before my LLaMa days I used to play in the top flight and would often have England, Spain, Italy, Brazil and so on loaded. I noticed a number of elderly continental stars coming over to the likes of Wycombe, Hartlepool and Lincoln simply because they were not ready to retire and I had the whole English League loaded but not the lower tiers in the other leagues. I deemed some of the players coming into League 1 and 2 to be highly unrealistic.

Have any LlaMa's suffered problems with players from other countries flooding into their game and their league or is this alleviated if you also run say Serie B and Serie 2 and the Segunda?

The reason I ask if I have embarked on what I want to be a career spanning 40 years if needs be and I have realised I have a lot of countries loaded. I am half paranoid that the Blue Square North will be a hotbed of South American talent a decade in which would just spoil things.

There's always reason to be paranoid.

I mean in FM2006 I managed Plymouth and did nothing, Hartlepool and did nothing, Aldershot and did nothing ... see the pattern. Never a problem.

I started a go with Lincoln and got back to back promotions into the Championship and then my save wouldn't load.

Since then I have been a fragile shell of my former self. I rock in the corner of my studio playing FM until the early hours convinced something sinister is afoot!
