This can be a weird question but, I have a PSP with a broken analog nub/stick(damn sony!) so I was just wondering if I can play this game without the use of analog stick. Just using D-pad you know...

Is there a option where you have to use the analog stick to get some additional features etc...?

You can use the D-pad, and in fact the analogue stick is only used to go from the top to botom of a page instead of having to go down a few lines using the d-pad.
