Do you produce good talant or just buy good young players. And how much time does it take from your fm time to produce a great player.

It would be nice to just be able to churn out good youth talent from the Academy, but because we're relying on the "Regen Machine" sprinkling the new players around evenly, in the hope of landing one or two future superstars, it's all a bit of a lottery really.

FM Scout certainly comes in handy on occasions such as this.

I tend to buy as I'm normally too impatient to wait for a youngster to be first team quality.

Do people buy young star players out of other under 18s and put them in theres.

I started out with a lower league club so at the beginning I just went with the best that was available, but now that I've gotten high enough, I can attract youths that look like they'll improve enough to make my first team or be sold for a lot of money, either way its win win.

I'm planning on buying some world-class players once I feel I can push for a league win or even Champions league win, because otherwise the player's value will start to go down once his stats start decreasing.
