is it possible to add another playable league to a saved game?

for some strange reason I havn't added the English league as being playable and I have only just noticed when I started looking for a new job!!!!

Unfortunately,no.You have to start a new game to add playable leagues to your setup.

Which is a bit of a pain if you're fairly well advanced into a good game but it's just the way it works.
I usually spend ages trying to work out how many leagues I'd like or wether I'd want to manage in them and then
end up choosing as many as possible just in case I miss one out I might fancy later on!.

This obviously slows the game down but at least you can adjust the detail level after you've started.

A little off topic but I don't care.
My pc is a bit long in the tooth so I really have to set up my leagues and DB right to get the best effect. So I usually will have England set to League 1 and up or maybe League 2 and up as playable. Whenever I do this the leagues underneath don't run obviously. What I reckon would be a good idea is to be able to turn the leagues underneath my playable leagues to 'view only' so I can have some idea of what's going on down there.
Also the ability to change a playable league to 'view only' after a while would be nice.
