Default The shots to goals ratio debate (not a rant, a question)

I was just wondering what teams the people getting this problem are using.

The reason I wonder this is because as soon as the game arrived I did what I do every year and start a new Liverpool game. After a few seasons of this I had a come to the crunch annoyance of one too mnay high shots in a game. I also had a few issues with the un-patched game and felt a short break (I went with PES 2008 ML and some Assassins Creed as the distractions). When the beta patch came out I decided I couldn't resist and loaded up. I found (as I'm sure a few do) I was a little lost in my game as I hadn't played it for a while and decided to start the second game I always go for, a LLM game. I picked Oxford United (not too much pressure in my first season). in the first season I had the odd occasion of low goal to shots. But it was intermitant(spl?). In my second season I was a shoe in for the drop and so I started adjusting my tactics to help me survive and hoped my first season freebies were a good investment.

To cut a long story shot (probably too late to keep the attention of most readers), I'm now in my first premiership season and am happily mid table. I can't even remember how I was creating the countless non-goal chances, it just doesn't happen. I believe it's because in my Liverpool game, and to a lesser extent the beginning of my Oxford reign, I was playing the exact same tactics I used last year. But through the trials and tribulations of my LLM game I've been fine with loosing games and would experiment with different tactical choices in a lot of games that were (supposedly) lost causes for me.
Since I wasn't bothered with losing certain games (none of the Kop 2 season title expectations) I just got on with it and, as I'm sure it goes for you all, over time my tactics have evolved for this version.

Now I think I started this thread as a question, what was it now?

Oh yes I wanted to find out if people experiencing the ratio problem where top flight managers and also maybe if any LLM's out there have any trouble with it?
