theres a certain nation out there that has 'greyed out' players, how can i restore it?

Ive gone into the db folder and deleted everything in there and started a new game but it hasnt helped

You need to use the "Select all players from a specific nation" option when starting a new game.

There is a way to do this that involves deleting a certain file but you're not allowed to discuss it on the official forums as it's a breach of licensing laws for SI.

I dont really understand how we're not allowed to discuss it when there is instructions within the file to change it. If they didn't want us to bypass the licensing issues then they shouldn't have made it so easy to do so.

Anyway, go to program files/sports interactive/ football manager 2008/data/db/800/inc

Open the fake folder with something like notepad and follow the instructions given.

Search Fake.lnc in windows search so you will find 8.0.1 path (can't remeber it now), then delete this file
