This is more of a question and not intended to be a rant. I'm playing as Arsenal, and every week, I get reports from the Head Scout reporting that XX player would be a quality signing, which they are.
Now my problem with this is the players they are recommending, mainly from rival teams (Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea). These players are Rooney, Ferdinand, C Ronaldo, Gerrard, Terry, SWP, and Cech. The thing that gets me is that on the scout report they are "Extremely interested in joing our team".
When in gods name have these players been extremely interested in joing Arsenal. Or does this relate to their loyalty attribute?
Hmm, that does sound strange. Players from rivals can be interested in joining your club if their club has dropped down the league and you're offering the right amount of money.
Still, to have all of those players interesting sounds a little...buggy
This is an aspect of the game (yet another!) that needs tweaking. Playing as Newcastle, i don't need to employ scouts to tell me that Steven Gerrard, Aaron Lennon, Michael Essien and Petr Cech would be good signings. I know they would. So would Kaka, Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Drogba, but it's not going to happen! I don't think the loyalty attribute comes into it, i just think the system is broken.
