Im not sure if i should play another season.

Im not sure if is better off playing a new game or continuing this game, what are the chances of me getting a new contract? i am manager for 7 years and brought tremendous success to the club who struggled for 60 odd years ++

I feel gutted, should i start a new game now to save time? i am thinking of shipping out all the regens i have trained to a new club i will join including all the transfer money if i continue with this game and dont get offered a new contract they fully deserve this punishment i couldnt careless if they get relegated if i dont get offered a new contract.

What would you do???

I've just read through your other thread and it seems others are having the same problem.

I've also seen it mentioned in other posts as well so maybe it will be fixed in the second patch.It obviously
wasn't in the first one.

Personally,I have yet to play FM08 but if something was really affecting my enjoyment of the game I'd probably wait
for the final patch and hope for the best.

The only problem with that is the possibility of having to start all over again for the patch changes to take effect.

I'm not sure starting a new game will do much. It sounds to me like ill programming on SI's part to not have teams care about your true overall performance... so a new game will just lead to the same unjust ending.

So, if it were me, I'd just keep going and accept it.

i just made a suggestion on the other thread, might be boring but might be worth trying, it worked for me.

I've been complaining about this for the last few versions to what appears to be deaf ears !

I always play LLM and love to take a small club as far as I can, but getting a team that has done nothing ever in a lower league to the Prem League and still getting sacked for being relegated as a result of a last game defeat annoyed me.

Then I won the league in my first season with Wolfsburg in Germany, they have never won the Bundesliga in their history. Of course the board expectations then became challenge for the title. I was languishing in upper mid table the following season and got sacked...please !

SI - PLEASE FACTOR IN AN OVERALL ACHIEVEMENT FACTOR, OTHERWISE IT BECOMES VERY UNREALISTIC.

I do accept that expectations increase but surely a sacking would only come after a few years of obscurity if you achieve miracles at a club.

Now obviously FMFantastic's post is going to lead to smart comments from spotty teens that donwload other people's tactics or cheat and win every game. Well good luck to you all.

I have also won many trophies and won trebles etc always using my own tactics which sometimes worked and sometimes didn't.

But I have also failed to consistently deliver at times, which is normally ok at the beginning, but if you have achieved lots already with a team..no matter who...expect to lose your job no matter what in FM2008
