So quit whining, FM08 seems to be doing a whack job of emulating real life...

Every other day or so I'll see a post like this, nicking one game and saying, "If it happens irl, it should happen in FM!"
Well, congratulations on finding one game that has a similar set of stats to what users are seeing every game of FM they watch.
I'm sure we'll all grant that the shot/goal imbalance in the ME that's the result of too many chances being created, can happen irl. What people are complaining about is that they don't see it in every game like they do in FM.

and i would love to see proof of EVERY game of FM that they watch
perhaps, give it 5 games, than post the stats of each game? It'll be compelling evidence!

Yeah, on contrary I doubt this happens in even nearly every game on users. Might be many games, but still at least for me when I dominate game I have a very good chance winning it.

Any liverpool games need to be disregarded. They full of players who shoot from 30-35 yrds rather than look for good opportunities. Most of the people who complain about number of shots compared to goals are those whose players keep missing 1v1's and open goals.

Okay, guilty of over-generalization. But the scores of screenshots posted in that thread speak volumes versus the handful of r/l examples others have posted...
