hi all, i havent posted on here for a while, but am thinking of getting back into fm..however ive red the ups and downs of the game and not mad up my mind on weather to buy iy or not, i think u can get it for bout 20 pound new now though..basically i just want to ask all you lot is it worth getting it??

It certainly has some flaws,some of which don't bother most of us, some of which do.
Over-all I'm still glad I bought it and play it reguarly. It is by no means non-playable as some of the more easily frustrated gamers would like us to believe.
Also, you suggest you have read about most of the flaws on these forums and it will help knowing about them before you play

will be doing alot more reading bout the flaws then!!after the patch though i presume things are sorted out..the actual game itself is it any faster or slower processing results etc

quite quicker in processing but dont bother buying it yet. Seeing as you have not bought it yet buy it after a succesful patch and data update has been created. That way u will get a good game straight from the off and the game will be cheaper

true, but then again that cud be febuary time!!and the thing is, it starts at august 2007 so it would be gud with the transfers up to that date..not january transfers but starting back in august if u get me??

The current flaws and bugs are very annoying in the long run. I can accept not scoring in matches with 30 chances as "well, that happens sometimes in real life", but in particular the shooting bug really annoys me after 3.5 seasons.
Other than that the game has some nice new features. Actually I like everything about the game except for the match engine bugs.
In my opinion the game definitely needs a second patch, but if those bugs are handled, the game is really worth the buy.

yeah buy the game and play in commentry mode as the match engine is bugged to fook 30000 chances to score a goal but the computer can almost def score with every chance i played a game as middlesboro shots 33 on target 27 goals 0 liverpool 1 1 on target 1 goal that pevved me right off
