I'm in my 2nd season with Preston North End, in the first my captain was playing in Center mid and got booked nearly (if not every!) game,

2nd season came, i brought in N.Quashie who is fr better that Nickoles but again the same problem, 10 games into the season (league) and he's on his 2nd automatic suspension due to 10 yellow cards

Anyone else having this problem?

Apart from that i cant have any complaints, ho bugs(to my knowlege) and i really enjoy 08, took me a while to get used to it however, there was a point where i hatd it

I think this is due to how much they close down and, of course, their takling instructions. If they are closing down a lot and putting in tackles a lot then they get booked more. Most players seem to give their MC's these types of instructions.

I encountered this problem in my first season at Ajax. My 2 MC's ended up with 15 and 16 yellow cards that season, with tackling set to medium. In the second half of the season they would play only 1 in 2 matches, because when they were back from suspension they would get another yellow. 3 of my DC's ended up with 0, 1 and 2 yellow cards.

But that was only during my first season. They got far less cards in my second and third season at Ajax, and at the moment I'm eving allowing them to tackle hard.

hmm maybe, it always seems to be the captain though, Simon Whalley my other cntr mid, plays great and hardly ever gets booked, maybe its something to do with how the captains react to certain instructions in accordance with their mental attributes, who knows, as i said thought, i love the game, best yet (my view) no other game comes near, including non football ones, i even sometimes go to bed thinking about tactics ect lol

I think also hidden attribute dirtyness or something might have something to do with this..

I don't think so. It doesn't matter who i put there, or what i set tackeling theywill always pick up a yellow card.

This was logging way before the patch was out. Pain in the arse.

Could be however it doesn't matter who I play there they get booked. It was a problem pre-patch but the beta patch cured it but I think its back after the full patch.
