I would like to see that in FM 2009 you could talk a lot more to the press, many more comments, and most of all I would like to see press conferences both before the match and after.
Where you get bombarded with questions when you are at the highest level or talk to the local journalist when in the sub-levels.
Also I would like to see that you could set when to receive the scouting reports from the scout who has watch your up-coming opponents.
This would be very useful because then you could get some tips what to look for when you yourself are visiting for look att your opponents.
Perhaps could also set what match the scout is going to attend to.
Please SI look at this and at least put it under consideration

Many thanks
Yeah i agree with most of these. And maybe you could even tell your scout what to watch out for that you may be able to use in your tactics such as whos a weaklink or something.
Press conferences would be fun and you could have them with new signings or appointments or sackings too, post match interviews could come into this too.
On the media side of the game, more responses and a better variety of questions is needed, but in turn, a much larger variety of player responses are needed as at present, there seem to only be a few. I think it would also be good if the fans and board could react to our statements with the press, such as seeing fans delight, or uneasiness as you announce you plan to win the title this season. Or the board could react angily if you continue to ruin the teams reputation with statements in the media. The media is greatly lacking depth at the moment, and this would help increase it.
With scouting, I'm not really sure what use it would be if you were able to set when you receive your scout reports. Surely it would make more sense just to get them when the scout is ready to get them to you? Unless I've misunderstood something. Also, personally, I think it would be a bit too much micro-management if we were able to tell which match scouts should watch. It is something I wish I could do on occassions, but this is something that should be an option, and certainly not a requirement.
One thing I would like in FM 2009 is the substitutes to be wearing different colour tops (eg tracksuits) instead of the same kit as they players on the pitch wear. Nothing major, but a nice change. Also for the benches not to swap
round every game.
In my opinion not a lot has to be added to the current game, but be tuned. If SI spent the next 10 months finely tuning the current game then FM09 would be the best of all time.
I think you guys are playing with fire, asking for more press interaction. It's features like that that are ruining the game.
Yes, it would be more realistic if you could say more to the press, but the way your statements affect the match would create SI an even bigger headache. Even now, that you have five choices for a pre-match statement and five for a team talk, the interaction of them with attributes, tactics etc. is unpredictable and usually catastrophic.
Imagine what would happen if there was a proper press conference.
Agree that there should be more responses, currently the game offers woefully few responses to cover all events. But a press conference before AND after the game, with many questions? Do you not think that would become tedious? It's things like that that have led FM down the path of feeling like a 2nd job, rather than a fun way of unwinding.
