Default How do you get hired by a big club?

What reputation level do you need before applying for a job with the big clubs (Chelski, ManU, Inter, etc...).

And is there anything you need to do to increase your chances other than simply applying? Do you need to interact with some of the players or managers to try and gain a better opinion of you?

if you get rejected what happens? Is there a chance your board will sack you?

Usually continental gives you a shout, but national, in my experience, is enough to get a chance with teams below that(Atletico,Portsmouth)

got ahead of myself there.

To my knowledg having the club in question as your favoured club is the only way to increase your chances.

You will most likely only get sacked by your current employers if you have been unsuccessful with them and apply for several new positions.

Yes. Start with the club you want instead of starting with lower league or unemployed. Seems obvious to me

Unless he's playing a career/LLM game, and what's to get to one of the big boys by climbing the ladder. Plenty of people play it this way.

I could be wrong here, but I've shipped two players to Bolton who had me listed as "favored personnel." That seemed to help me land a job with Bolton after managing teams in Australia and USA.
