Having failed to have my contract renewed by newcastle, i sat waiting for the next job offer. A few came in for me, but i decided to hold out for a better offer, which duly arrived a few months later.
Palermo have offered you a contract.
Transfer budget: £10,000,000
Wage budget: 625k p/w
That was enough for me, so i signed on the dotted line. So why, when my assistant suggested i strengthen the defence, did i go to the player search screen to find i have £0 for transfers? Not only that, but my wages are currently 275k p/w OVER the £222k p/w wage budget!!
Am i to assume that the figures are taken from the start of the season, or are they just made up for effect?
If anyone's been in a similar situation, let me know. I took on Palermo based on their figures, and to try something different. why the hell would i take on Palermo knowing they were crippled with debt, and had no money to spend?!?
You've got it good, when i took the valladolid job i can't remember exact figures but they were pretty good and i ended up with a £0 wage budget and a £0 transfer budget.
Regardless, this is insanity. Have checked the bug forum, albeit briefly, and couldn't see anything that directly matches this. Bloody annoying though.
Just started a new game unemployed and took a job in holland with emmen this time was promised 28.5k wage budget and have got £975 which pays for my wages. What a joke. Don't get me wrong i love this game but that is just ridiculous now.
