I've downloaded the magapack and there are a few things I'd like to change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1)The player background pictures look like rookie fan art and spoil the game's professional style. Is there any way to turn them off?
2)The Competition photos are tacky and ugly, does anyone know how I can change them?
3)One of the most charming aspects of the old Champ Man games were the inconsequential, everyday pictures. Like a man painting lines on the pitch, or a pitch being sprayed with water, or a team photo of some non-league side. Is there anyway I can get pictures like this?
1. Yeah, most of the player packs Ive seen seem to be mainly made up by wallpapers. The problem is finding big "action" pictures of each player.
Just delete them off your computer.
2. Find an alternative on the internet. Save it and give it the same name as the picture file that you want to replace, then just drag and drop your replacement into the folder the original is. The comp will ask you if you want to overwrite it, say yes.
3. Search for them on the internet. Google images or flickr. Look for big pictures, at least 800x640 better still 1024x768(?). Otherwise small pics will be pixellated
As with any changes you make to the graphics in the game, you'll need to go into prefs, untick use skin cache and tick always reload skin on confirm.
When you load the saved game then the changes should have been made.
