I just downloaded a skin and it wont show up in my fm08... I put it in CUsers\Owner\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\skins... m i doing something wrong?

Just to let you know i dont have
"use skin cache" ticked and "always reload skin on confirm" is ticked...

Yeah, make sure "User Skin Cache" is ticked otherwise the program won't know to check the folder. Ticking this box should allow you to select your skin

Check the path for "User Skin Cache" is where you put the skin (The default path should be correct unless you have moved it yourself)

Herbie - that's wrong. You need skin cache to be not ticked for the game to look in the skins folder.

Gecko - the skin needs to be extracted if it's compressed (.zip or .rar) before you put it in your skins folder. If you haven't done that do so.
