It would only work if villa reserves counted as a separate team in the database, which it doesn't. There are a few teams whose reserves do though, search for reserves in the editor. Then you just bump someone out the conf and put them in it.

I just figured it out! You can bring villa up on the editor, go to edit, add reserve team, change the type of team to b team and then change the division to conference. I might try this myself when I start a new game, good idea! :thup: could have reserves in league two and u18s in conference or something. could end up winning fa trophy and stuff haha.

Doesn't work I'm afraid, would be nice though I admit. What you could do though, is create a team called Aston Villa B or something then add them as your feeder and tick the option Players Move Freely.

ive had a save where my reserves played in La Liga and my U18's in holland (1st team was Arsenal)

it worked but i didn't like it, ended up loading my U18's with 25-30 year olds etc to try winning the league so wasnt getting my youths any matches

how does it work for real madrid castilla though?..must be a way to replicate that

Because its hard coded to work in the Spanish leagues I'm guessing.
