Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Coaching setup

How should I set up my staff?

I'm aware that too much emphasis on your first team leads to your youth team suffering (obviously) but since you can train youths faster than adults, you should put more emphasis on your youths. And too much emphasis on your first team could lead to your first team peaking too early (true?).

I am allowed 10 coaches so I can hire 15. I have no wage budget issues. How should I distribute first team coaches, coaches and youth coaches?

I always make sure I have just 'coaches' that way I can choose exactly which coaches I want to train the youths. I get rid of everyone who is not a coach or offer them a new contract depending how good they are.

Once a player hits 17, bang hes in training with my first teamers if its someone I will be keeping.

I normally distribute coaches though so everything has 5 stars even the youth ones.

i do exactly as clion hehe.

only wanna add that i put 1-2 coashes in each field so i have 5 stars in all training.

i usealy look for coashes that have 5 star in the field they train and have 16+ in train youth.i also want them to have good motivating skill.

during preseson i train my players more intense in strenght and aerobic and i make sure i have 3 coashes assiged to those areas during that time.when seson training starts i reduce to 2.

i usealy only have 1 set pieces trainer.

(Message mainly to Cleon)
How did you find out these stats for coaches? And does it really work? I am surprised that they can be found out.

Thanks if they do work, they're great!

Someone posted them a while back, but yes they are right and do work. Its not hard to find them out all someone had to do was experiment a little while.

Nice ideas. However, it is kind of hard to find good coaches - that have the ability to train youngsters at 19 or 20...
