Hey there, I am coming towards the end of the 2011 season with Sunderland.

I lost the league last season to Arsenal on goal difference and won the league the season before by 10 points.

However, this season with a similar team to last, I have struggled emensley and find myself 11th.

Can anyone tell me which player or position could be improved by looking at the screenshot link.

You've posted a formation, not a tactic. You'll need to post team instructions and at least give a rough outline of what sort of individual instructions you use.

How are you letting in goals? Are you losing too many or drawing too many?

There's nowhere near enough info here for anyone to help you.

i play 4-4-2 diomond direct with counter attack.i dont win epl but i finish top 4 wich for me is very good.

i have bought players for 106 mill £ and sold for 110 mills.

with that team u got u should win everything every year.

a forgot to mention. but players need time to gel. so introduce like 2-3 starters max per year. takes em like 4 months to gel in.

I seriously dont understand how people can get to so big teams and names. Doesnt matter what team I take i never win the league with Sunderland or anything like that. (especially when I always lost about 50% of the last 20 matches of the season)

After all it did take 5 years for me to get these players. It's all about consistency and gradually getting better.

well i think u have bought and sold players alot so your team is not battle to hard and are not wel gelled.

if they are u should win every game almost very easy.

take normal 4-4-2 tactic, put passing to direct little and use counter attack. or use an short passing system and use through balls.. not to hard.

What is the point of asking for tactical advice when all you've posted is a formation and are asking as to which players look good?

That's not the point of this section of the forums. This is about tactical discussion. If you think the tactics are good, then you want Good Players. If you think you need tactical guidance then give more information. There's no way that you can begin to improve a 4-4-2 with short farrows unless you know how that formation is set up.

No, it's a personel/formation change which is tactical but is not in itself a tactic.

I was merely asking for more information to try and help you improve your tactic. If all you're after is player advice, then this isn't the place you need.
