Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Wet weather tactical advice needed

Hi, I started a game in Finland and after a while realized that there´s something wrong with the weather. It´s always downpouring throughout the year. I think it might be possible to fix this in the editor but I´m having a good game and I don´t want to end it.

Now, I´d like to know if there any good tactical advices on how to play in downpour? I know that direct/long passing is good, but is there something else I should know?

Thanks in advance

I think you should also be careful for balls slipping through... so if your defense line pushes up too much it might slip trough... just a guess though but sounds logical.

Long passes, very wide at home, cross balls, no dribbling, very careful with hard tackles as you will get lots of cards, long shots with a wet ball will be difficult to catch. Pay more attention to set pieces as they can be match winners in games you cannot control possession.

Also buy strong and tall players and not small and quick players with dribbling skills.
