Hello

I haven't noticed anyone playing french first league. I'm trying to play a sensible game with Marseille and have a difficult job with it. It seems very difficult to find a decent tactics against 4-2-3-1 some teams like to play, so I would appreciate any ideas.

4231 is difficult to play against!

Play defensive/Normal, deep def line, slow tempo, high time wasting. Your playing to frustrate the AI into changing into 442. after a while, the AI will change tactics as they can't brake you down.

There are some threads in the forum regarding playing against 4231, as many people have struggled to play against Liverpool.

When playing in foreign leagues, always play low tempo, high time wasting, slow build up.

It really does work! But there is another tactic that I find impossible to beat, it's 4-1-2-2-1. Any suggestions?

when i played with rennes, i found that switching between 442 and 4231 (barca) really did the trick

I have the tactic that USA used in the Copa America, where they FAILED MISERABLY if that helps?

You assume because of my location & name that i am american lol.ex pat mate.By the way America sent a sub standard squad to copa america,while weeks before have a full strength squad for the gold cup.That about some up us soccer's priorties,clueless.
