It's actually a very quick challenge at this stage - you're simply loading up the game and choosing a tactic for the team. It can be done in 10-20 mins.
I also think it's important we ger to the heart of tactic building and that's why this challenge could become important

Ok My First 3 results as expected are rubbish.
Fist game away to charlton i won 2 - 0
Second game away to fulham i lost 3 - 1
Third game at home to totenham i lost 1 - 0
Im quite annoyed by the totenham one because i was all over them and corradi who has been scoring easily in friendlies and in league missed tons of chances.

got a scout repot saying liverpool are likely to play a 4 - 4 - 2 that was it
thay dominated again corradi got two "How did he miss that"
Lost 1-0 away to them kuyt scored in 83rd minute.
Lost 2-1 at home to wigan, they played a fast direct 442 and i counterd by playing a slow short passing game. they had fast strikers so i droped the defensive line back. Obviously didnt work.
1 - 0 win over derby in cup/
Lost 2 - 1 to watford away. they scored in first minute and i was chasing. at the end i got a man city wont believe i lost this./
1 - 1 home draw with portsmouth - i dominated and lost a goal to a corner. in the 86th minute i got a penality which would have won me the game, but missed.
So you can see either im completely **** or this game hates me. I know right now that i hate the game. I dont know why corradi wont score after training all his stats are going up. But as a rule this is the type of thing i experience every game. Makes it very annoying.
BTW i quit. I'm honestly never playing this game again.

hehe ok mushroom, a pretty bad run of form there has to be said!
Need to see the tactic you've set up with and your rationale for choosing it then we might be able to help

Just thought I'd update you with how my game is going. I understand that many people are awaiting the release of FM 2008 and arent getting too involved with 2007 projects, so I shall just use this thread as a place to discuss tactics and answer any questions I can on my game and tactics in general
League Table http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...eagueTable.jpg
Really pleased with progress so far. The loss was the last match I played, going down 2-1 in the derby. Had the bulk of the possession and United scored two from set pieces, so a little annoying! I'm going to set up my set pieces after this post, so that should hopefully cut down goals conceded from free kicks and corners.
Home Tactic http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...eFormation.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...omeTactics.jpg
Away Tactic http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...yFormation.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...wayTactics.jpg
As you can see I've changed things round a bit. Both tactics are still based on the theories I used in the initial post, but I felt I needed to support the strikers more so moved the wingers and AMC up the pitch. There is actually very little difference between the two tactics, I have simply changed the team mentality, turned counter attack off and made the FB instructions a little more defensive to keep a solid back 4 when playing away
