| all been there mate, plus I really am an average manager, I don't expect any spectacular success at all! You should get a lot out of this by having a go, at the very least you'll get lots of constructive criticism about your tactics

Would like to join in here but for 2 reasons:
1) I'm currently having a go at the West Ham challenge alongside my Blackburn game.
2) The idea of using last year's Man City team is just scary. Pearce did an excellent job keeping them up! |

once my players got used to the system i am getting clean sheets galore and scoring 2 a game or so,i am using it in my west ham game who have just been relegated to the championship before i took over so most players are unhappy and they are still performing.

| I'm glad you're enjoying my tactic andy, but it's not something I've created to be used for every team - it was my impression of how best to set up Manchester City. The point of this thread is to encourage people to load up the game with Man City and create a tactic which they think is the best way of making the side play
I am however pleased for you that my tactic is some use!

| Haha its so true! I just think if you don't take the game too seriously and try and get some enjoyment out of it it really isn't that hard. For example, this Man City side is expected to finish 13th in the Premiership, so if I could even get a top ten or top seven finish i'd be really happy. I think that's how the game should be approached

| hi mate, i always use the stats to determine the player instructions, but obviously you need to alter the values depending on the division you're playing in.
For example, when I play in the conference, a 10 in passing is a high attribute for that division so I'd give the player through balls often.
