Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Rashidi - what a great tactic - Im now 2nd 3 points behind with Spurs played 31 games....looks like a champions L. Spot and Semis of Uefa Cup.

Although great I want to make better - 3 players cause me concern.

Lennon RW p 23 s3 assist 5
Malbrangque LW p 36 s5 a9
Jenas MC p 34 g4 a 7

I dont think my wingers are set right as they are pacey rather than passers?

Set up Wings

Lennon/Malbranque - FR Mixed, RWB M, TTB M, Cross often, byline.

MC - Jenas/Alex

FR Mixed, rwb Mixed, ttb m cross, Rare

Is this why they aren't producing??

Also, to give me an idea of who to buy plying
4-1-3-2 (wingers) what would be you dream team
One with cheap, one with star....

Thanks, I should crack this soon

Hmm you're winning and you want more...

ok let's try this..remember though the more attacking you become the more aware you have to be that you're going to leave yourself vulnerable.

what does p23 and s mean? played and scored?

The goal of the wingers is to get as many assists as possible and to get a few goals. Those assists aren't bad. One thing you could do is this...

short farrow the wingers or short farrow the MC. When you do this it means that the players will run forward to those positions when the team has the ball and they track back when they don't.

Leave them on normal mentality, when you set a farrow up,especially in attacking tactics, that way they are also likely to give support to defenders if their closing down is low. If its high chances are they will leave gaps. When this happens your players conditions will wear down fast. Remember that when you do this,

Since they are good at running, if they are good at dribbling set them to RWB often , but cross from mixed, not from bye. If you set bye they will more often than win corners, mixed sees them attempting runs into the box if they are set on Cross ball mixed.

This makes the wingers very attacking, but also defensive in orientation because of the low closing down. A low closing down means that a player will close down further away from the opposite goal.

The MC in the centre...you have options. I rather see them more as playmakers, so RWB mixed, TTB often, direct passing or short no more than 1.

If you want them to be Ronaldinhos then RWB often, TTB mixed

glad you're enjoying yourself.
