currently playing a 442 formation with spurs using 2 wingers and 1 att mid and one def mid i am doing fine up until i always play the big 4 then no matter how i set up my formation i always lose and it it really frustrating because surely there must be a way to beat these teams if anyone could give me any pointers it would be very much apreciated tia

I used a defensive counterattackin 4-1-4-1 formation and it worked pretty nicely as I finished second only losing to arsenal with goal difference (1st season). You can definitely challenge the big 4 with the 7.0.2 patch spurs squad. Only a bit short on the left midfield.

I did encountered the same results with spurs when meeting the big 4. No matter what formations i use against them, results have not been favorable. But what i noticed is that when i set instructions to direct style, high attacking, hard tackling, high closing down and high tempo, there are 70% chance of pulling a win or draw. And one more thing, your pre match comments must fire up ur players.
