if im playing a 4-3-3 formation and give free roles on two of my strikers(with the central striker not having free role) how would my two strikers poistion themselves, would they both go out wide or come more central,
Free role is something that you need to keep to a minimum IMO. Basically this means that the player involved can do his own thing and ignore your team and individual instructions, so having 2 of your 3 forwards on that instruction is unlikely to work. The free role option should normally be used for your most creative player ( e.g Ronaldinho, Gerrard etc ) and usually but not exclusively in a midfield role.
In the case you mention the 2 guys on free role are likely to turn up in the same place but how well they play the free role is also dependant on their atributes for creativity and decisons.
Well... if I played a 433 with Barcelona with Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Messi, I would give Ronaldinho and Messi both a free role and high creative freedom, and have them swap positions constantly. Maybe even Eto'o too. It depends on the player, the formation, the tactics, and the team.
I actually noticed it works wonders for a creative striker/targetman.
I found a free transfer old dude in Holland called Rene Davids... great jumping, strength and anticipation but also 18 at creativity (even moved to 20 after 2 months of training) and made him (allthough he's a DMC) targetman upfront and set Creative Freedom to High and Free Roll on. Worked quite well.
Using free role is something you only should do if you have some great players. It'll work great on flair wingers/strikers and on a world-class AMC (and, depending on your setup, also on a DMC). But you shouldn't use it on lesser players.
If you're playing for example Barcelona, Arsenal or ManUtd, you can use the free role to devastating effect. If you're using Derby Country, you definitely should avoid it.

I would play in your place with wing forwards like Barca does...that 433 flat formation is basicly extinct
