Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Arsenal tactics

Hi guys im wondering if you can give me some help
Im arsenal and i want to play with short passing style. im wondering what are the best tempo and mentality to employ to create plenty of chances using this style? im currently playing attacking mentality(going reasonably) but iv heard that attacking mentality and short passing leads to the ball being given away. so any help appreciated!

i would probably recommend using slow tempo, using 4 or 5 in midfield to create plenty of options for possesion football. usually with players of arsenals standard, (players with hight passing attributes) the ball should not be given away too often. Untick counter attack if you would rather have a patient build up play

sorry for double post mentality wise it would probably work best if all your players had a similar mentality, varying maybe by one or two in each position. This would mean your players are positioned closer together allowing short passes with different options. Read the RoO thread by wwfan (i think?) if you need any explanations on that part
